Walking Pictures #32

Rose Bush, Louisville KY 2009 © jwl

I got my film from Louisville back from the lab today. Looks like I am gonna be scanning for a while. From what I can tell, I have quite a few good photographs from the trip. My friend Chad was there as well working on photos and I think we are going to try and make a portfolio of our combined efforts.

This was an image that I was looking forward to seeing (it is coming out of the printer right now), I remember feeling drawn to everything in the scene. As far as the River Town project is concerned, I think a few more towns and we will see what it all means.

Louisville is not the prettiest of cities but she has the most beautiful rosebushes I have ever seen. After each gritty, cruel winter the city is filled with these magnificent roses.
Even though Louisville is a very 'haves and have not' town the rosebushes bloom just as pretty in and around the 'urban housing' as the mansions.
Hmmm, a thought just occurred to me. I wonder if it has anything to do with all the horses...?
