Beginning this week, Brian Fahr’s paintings will be our last exhibition for 2007. Be sure and come see us for Gallery Night (October 19th) for a celebration of this truly unique Milwaukee painter. In Fahr’s work, images and found objects connect the past and present. Spirit-like painted figures become vehicles to connect the real and the surreal. Loose paint and vibrant color provide a harmonious landscape for those two worlds to co-exist.

Milwaukee painter, Brian Fahr has spent the last 10 years studying and creating paintings. After studying in Italy and Ireland, Fahr returned to Milwaukee and earned his BFA in painting and drawing from MIAD in 1997. He has since shown extensively and created commissioned work throughout Milwaukee.
